Dave Chappelle: an introduction

Dave Chappelle has had his ups and downs over the past 15 years. After several minor acting roles, he was offered the part of Bubba on the film “Forrest Gump,” but declined. He later regretted the decision.

After several appearances on television and little success, Chappelle’s father passed away. He later said he didn’t give himself time to grieve and threw himself deeply into his work. In 2003, Chappelle teamed up with Comedy Central for “Chappelle’s Show,” his most popular work to date. However, the show lasted only two years before Chappelle was “burned out.”

After a trip to Africa and a spat with Comedy Central, Chappelle became more dedicated to stand-up comedy than ever. Though he doesn’t have any upcoming events scheduled, check back soon for more Dave Chappelle tickets and news.
